Back home in Stavanger!

Hi folks, we have now been home for about three weeks - wow time goes by so quickly....Any way - it sure was nice to come back home again but boy it was hard to leave all wonderful people we met in Dunedin!

We moved out of the house during the last week and into the cutest littl B&B in Company Bay - the one in the Art Gallery! There we had the pleasure to get to know Cathy and Alex Shemansky - two wonderful persons! We really enjoyed our stay in their B&B! They have a lovely garden where Felix and the girls could play seek and hide (when it wasn't raining too much). Felix was also allowed to help Alex to do some hard boys-work! Nailing the big loggs which were suppose to make a new kitchen garden!

It was so lovely to watch the kids come back home - to see them all happy and excited to enter their own rooms....with all toys....and their own bed etc. To meet all old friends was also wonderful - Fidelis best friend was awake waiting when we arrived at 11.30 pm and she and Fideli could have a wee play before bedtime! To get back to kindergarden for Fideli was somehow strange the first days. She was sitting in the car after the first day almost crying and saying that she misses Tessa and Emma. "I want to be with my friends in NZ" ! Lovely! Today it goes much better but she still talks A LOT about NZ with her friends.

Felix, well - he talks a lot too - with everyone - he's back in business with kidergarden and he has not asked about going back. I think it was good for him to get back to his old friends and to bigger group of kids! He simply loves it - although he's exhausted every after noon when we pick him up - in 2 min. he's asleep in the car!

Filippa, well - She enjoyed getting back too but it was teacher streik when we came home and no school for until almost a week later. Kind of dissapointing for her! But she had a lot of catching up to do and the wheather was TROPICAL so the streik soon went over to something good!

A week after homecoming the tropical wheather dissapered and we were slammed back into ordinary Stavanger wheather - more or less Autumn wheather - 12 degrees, rain and very windy! We still have the same....and summer holiday just started up for Filippa!

We will soon post some new photos here on the blogg - just havn't come that far yet....

Take care all of you down in NZ - and other places!
